Downtown Luxury Real Estate

Downtown Los Angeles is made up of 13 districts within the most historic part of LA. Experience the city’s living history in the Historic Core which includes the Old Spring Street Financial District and the Broadway Theater District with 12 theater buildings in seven blocks. Bunker Hill and the Financial District are the hub of downtown and make up the famous LA skyline of skyscrapers, offices, banks, hotels and shopping centers. Bunker Hill is brimming with character and offers a wonderful lifestyle for those fortunate to live in this area of music and art centers. The landmark Bunker Hill Steps were modeled on Rome’s Spanish Steps and lead down to the Public Library. Further north is the Civic Center of LA; the largest concentration of government officials outside Washington D.C. and home to several theaters and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. El Pueblo is where Los Angeles was founded in 1781. Exploring Olvera Street, the central plaza and 27 historic buildings in this area on a walking tour is a must for history lovers.
The northern end of downtown LA includes Chinatown with its unmistakable Twin Dragon Gateway, specialty shops and authentic Chinese restaurants. Little Tokyo is the hub of the Japanese-American community with delightful gardens and Japanese restaurants. Famous for being the most graffiti-ed area in California is the Arts District, but that’s OK as graffiti here is considered public art! The old railroad building is now converted into art studios and lofts. The Toy District is a fascinating place to find all kinds of manufactured products while Gallery Row showcases the culture and the Arts.
The south end of downtown Los Angeles includes the 90-block Fashion District while the Jewelry District, reputedly the largest in the world, packs in over 5,000 jewelry outlets. South Park is an up-and-coming area of downtown with new and renovated buildings surrounding modern sports and entertainment venues including the LA Convention Center.
